Tomorrow- the Hubby and I and his Dad and brothers are going to see a Flames Game. It will be a first for me. You'll get a full fledged play-by-play after, I assure you. I was given the opportunity to buy some Flames gear (shirt, hat etc...) and I turned it down. One game does not warrant spending a ridiculous amount of money on something I would wear once.
Oh, Happy New Years, in case I don't make it back in time to wish it to you tomorrow.

Blood
#7 Donate Blood 5 Times (1/5).
The Hubby and I went and gave blood today. It was his 5th time giving blood, and my 6th. We plan on going again (on February 22nd 2010) in Lethbridge.
Did you know that someone in Canada needs blood every minute? Did you know that 1 in 2 people are able to give blood, but last year only 1 in 60 did? Did you know that it only takes 15 minutes for someone to give blood?
15 minutes to save someones life...
What is stopping you?

mY gOALs
I saw this while I was creeping on someone else's blog and it sparked something inside of me. I decided to do my own and came up with the list below. The items will be completed over the next 1001 (well a little less then that now) days and as they are done I will blog about them and update the list on a regular basis.
This list has been printed off and is stationed above my desk...a constant reminder of the 101 things I want to do.
You can follow me HERE and HERE because I'm sure I'll be updating my success on both of my other blogs.
Tomorrow the Hubby and I are going to donate blood...one step closer...
~EB.
Take from the Day Zero website:
The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple challenges such as New Year's resolutions or a 'Bucket List'. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.
